In Australia, Grandparents Day is celebrated on the last Sunday in October. That’s today!

I wish all the Grandparents out there, a very happy Grandparents Day.

Whether you get to spend time with your grandchildren or not, I’m sure they are never far from your thoughts or you from theirs.

The purpose of Grandparents Day is to recognise the contribution that grandparents make to families, communities and the economy.

I’d like to celebrate the contribution my grandchildren make to my life too!

    We love being grandparents. Grandparents Day in America is celebrated in September. We’ll be with our grandson next month when he turns 18 months old. Here’s to all the grandparents who not only get to spend time with their grandchildren but also enjoy the best reward of watching their children become excellent parents.

      That’s wonderful to have time with your grandson. Eighteen months is such a fun age. In fact, every age is a fun time. My granddaughter is about to turn 14 in a few days time and my grandson recently turned 16. They grow up so quickly. Every moment with them is precious. Enjoy! And I agree with you about seeing your own children excel in parenting. I guess they had good models, eh? 😉
